You’re ready to grow your voice, audience and impact? We can help with that!
I’m Katherine Peach, founder of Peach Palate, a creative studio for content strategy & writing services. For the last 10+ years, I’ve acted as a multi-genre writer and digital media strategist. I bring an expertise in writing, editing, research, SEO best practices and persuasive copy. As a journalist, I explore inspiring stories about the conservation of wild places, and the people, cultures and species living within them. As a creative consultant, I partner with brands in the arts, wellness, sustainability, hospitality and cannabis brands based out of New York, NY.
What We Do
I’ve learned the secret to speaking to your COMMUNITY thanks to a willingness to experiment and adapt …
And it’s not as elusive as you might think.
My approach is storytelling with creativity and data-driven results, using Google Analytics, Search Engine Optimization best practices, and your personal customer journey.
Through content strategy, we can translate your goals into a plan that has the power to engage and compel action.
Together, we can establish tone and create authority for your brand as more and more voices crowd the internet.
In essence, Peach Palate helps purpose-driven brands that aren’t sure how or where to start creating authority in the online space. I lead with professionalism, an open communication style, and the ability to work under tight deadlines — and meet them.
Sound like we might get along?
I’m especially passionate about holistic health, responsible travel, regenerative business practices and sustainable living for a more just future.
WhY storytelling IS the thread for all i’ve done:
As a product of the ‘layoff generation’ (oh hey, millennials!), Peach Palate started after the agency I worked for closed our office abruptly. This layoff was the third staff reduction in my career. I decided to try something new and built a business by word of mouth.
I broke into journalism as a staff writer for The Santa Monica Mirror, writing about breaking news, art openings, and local government. I met with business leaders by day and attended city planning meetings at night. I balanced tight daily deadlines and managed to dig into community issues through enterprise reporting.
Curiosity and creativity is the key to my success as a freelance writer. I drank beer for charity, covered music on the Westside of Los Angeles, and interviewed Barbara Streisand for the Thrillist-owned LAist (RIP). Since then, my editorial writing has been published in numerous lifestyle and news outlets — see my editorial portfolio with highlights.
After moving to Aspen, I gravitated toward digital marketing and public relations. I hosted media in Miami with Body Glove, organized VIP farm-to-table media dinners for the Sweden-based heritage brand Fjällräven, and ensured the Wall Street Journal, Vanity Fair, and Town & Country magazine kept their eyes on art in the the Rockies on behalf of the Aspen Art Museum.
I then attended grad school during a pandemic (because I have impeccable timing?), resulting in a Master’s of Fine Arts in Creative Writing: Nonfiction at The New School.
Storytelling is my obsession.
You might call me a multi-hyphenate. In reality,
I have a severe case of curiosity.
I routinely accept work for content strategy, copywriting, and editorial assignments, upholding the ethics, technique and creativity required of each.
